brought to you by Quizilla Yesterday: Got up early, made it to Curves but not to the BMV. Curves was...well, I didn't work out. But Marilyn, the lady there, was most friendly, and she remembered me, and she scolded me for wearing jeans to my measuring, and I lost more weight! Scale said 218, which is a pound and a half less than I weighed when I first joined Curves. Which makes for a total loss since July of 9.5 lbs. I feel good about this, O Best Beloved. I haven't actually lost weight since high school. Then we went garage-saling, and found a new lamp for the study. Then we picked up all manner of computer pieces from the aforementioned study, and decided we had enough parts (including monitors) for a couple new-to-you computers. Down to A+ for some cheap cases, and back home to put ancient 400 and 500 MHz motherboards in them. Angel put one together, with some discovery that we were missing a few cables for things like serial and USB ports (I bet they're in here somewhere), and we need to find a few more of our spare parts before it will work right. Also rebooted the server from its kernel upgrade. And napped, and read my way through Stephen King's The Green Mile, which is a startlingly good book (set of books?) in the not-so-horrorly vein of Eyes of the Dragon, except that he's much more sympathetic to his characters than usual in it. I liked it. Still need to read The Gunslinger. I have part of my expanded H&P and absolutely none of my studying done. Mage RP in the evening was much fun as per . Felt like Psyche is actually really starting to develop a personal attachment to the other characters. Plus, I just like playing her. Now it's church, followed by board meeting, so I will have plenty of time to work on more of my H&P, all the way down to figuring out what the fuck my clinical question for it is. Back to Indy tonight :(
